About the Work

Vampire on Vacation is a collaborative project with Kei London Art Agency, presented alongside British artists Andrew Gow, Dangerosa, Claire McCarthy, Fara Thomas, Antalya Von Preussen, and Hossein Borojeni. For this exhibition, I designed and hand-painted 12 bodysuits, each one inspired by the color palettes drawn directly from the exhibiting artists' canvases. This process created a visual dialogue between canvas and body, ensuring a seamless flow between the artworks and the muses who embodied them.

The concept reimagines how art can be experienced by taking it off the wall and onto the runway. Instead of static displays, the artworks were animated through movement, transforming the models into living extensions of the artists' vision. This approach allowed audiences to encounter each piece in a more intimate and personal way, as fleeting yet powerful moments of performance unfolded before their eyes.

At its core, Vampire on Vacation explores the relationship between art performance while offering a more participatory experience for viewers. The project was also presented in partnership with Friends of The Royal Marsden Chelsea, a charity dedicated to supporting the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust. In this way, the exhibition combined creativity with purpose, bringing art to life while contributing to a cause that enhances the well-being of patients and staff alike.
